AdamantQ is a deep-tech startup striving to innovate and industrialize component-level functional diamond quantum technology for civil infrastructure, manufacturing, and defense systems. They specialize in the end-to-end design, electronic embedment, and scaled production of diamond component-level atomic clocks and quantum sensors.


AdamantQ is poised to commercialize their unique cost-effective diamond-tech components In collaboration with industry networks and partners, and is currently looking for a Head of Business Development.


Why is this interesting?

Quantum technology uses quantum-physical principles to re-engineer core electronic sensor and timing components, and provide unparalleled efficiency and performance to weight ratio and the cost of manufacturing in general. Diamond-based quantum technology is particularly advantageous and marketable due to its unique stability and transparency.


What have we accomplished until now?

AdamantQ has begun approaching the PNT (Position, Navigation, Timing) sector with our first product, a diamond-based atomic clock, as measuring time is a critical element in industries of navigation, aerospace, meteorology. They have successfully completed testing and certification of their initial prototype, as well as having acquired letters of purchase intent from two customers.


AdamantQ is currently backed by three ever-green VCs and have a stable runway as they move forward with expanding their IP portfolio, product offering, and their ambitious commercialization plans.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced business developer with end-to-end expertise in commercializing complex technologies from customer-case discovery, pilot, GTM, launch to delivery.


We have the opportunity to create applications for tomorrow that have a massive impact in a multitude of industries from automotive to manufacturing, navigation, aerospace and consumer electronics.


Your experience in market analysis, customer segmentation, business development, sales and finding strategic commercial opportunities will drive our Go-to-Market strategy.


Requirements

  1. 8+ years of experience in business development and sales within complex technology companies in hardware, electronics, IoT, automation, machinery or similar
  2. Experience in taking products to the market in a global setting is a big plus
  3. Entrepreneurial drive to join fast-paced small teams and own the commercialization strategy and operations
  4. Experience working in data-driven and analytical environments
  5. A process-improvement and innovative mindset, with strong awareness of situational priorities, and the ability to thrive in a team environment
  6. Fluency in English
  7. Ability to maintain on-site or hybrid work in Lund.
